Du Preez to replace injured Snyman

Cape Town - Springbok Sevens squad member Carel du Preez will replace Philip Snyman in the 12-man team to contest the Scotland leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series this weekend.

Snyman, who was included in the original team that travelled to Glasgow last weekend, picked up a calf muscle injury in training and has been ruled out of this weekend's tournament at Scotstoun Stadium.

Du Preez, who made his World Series debut for the Blitzbokke in Japan last month, will join up with the squad on Saturday morning. 

South Africa’s pool fixtures in Glasgow:

12:58 - v Samoa

16:04 - v Kenya

19:37 - v New Zealand
