Cape Town - The South African Sevens team have beaten France in their Cup quarter-final at the Port Elizabeth leg of the HSBC World Sevens Series on Saturday.
The Blitzbokke won 26-12 after the scores were level at 12-all at half-time.
The Blitzbokke scored tries through Johannes Prinsloo, Cecil Afrika (2) and Bernado Botha. Branco du Preez was on target with three conversions.
The Blitzbokke will play Samoa in the semi-finals at 16:59, after Samoa beat Wales 21-12 in their quarter-final.
The second semi-final, scheduled for 17:21, will see England face New Zealand.
The Cup final is scheduled for 19:40.
