Blitzbokke draw USA in London

2015-05-10 21:14

Cape Town - The South African Sevens team will face the USA, France and Portugal in Pool D in the final tournament of the HSBC World Sevens Series in London next weekend.

Neil Powell's Blitzbokke were eliminated in the quarter-finals by eventual champions Fiji in Glasgow on Sunday, which saw them drop to second in the overall standings, some five points behind their South Pacific rivals.

The USA are currently sixth in the standings, with France in 10th. Portugal find themselves in 14th.

The Blitzbokke have however done enough to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
