Blitzbokke down Treu's Kenya

Cape Town - The Springbok Sevens side have reached the semi-finals of the Dubai Sevens after beating Kenya 21-12 in their quarter-final clash.

The South Africans looked to be coasting against the team coached by their former mentor, Paul Treu, when they took a 14-0 half-time lead.

However, Kenya fought back with two tries to come within two points of the Blitzbokke. But a late try from speedster Branco du Preez sealed the deal for Neil Powell's men.

South Africa will face either England in the Cup semi-finals later on Saturday (15:51 SA time), after the English beat Wales 33-12 in their quarter-final.

New Zealand and Fiji will contest the other semi-final, after both notched respective quarter-final wins over (Argentina 26-19) and Scotland (26-14).
