Blitzbokke crush Portugal

Cape Town - The Springbok Sevens team crushed Portugal in their first match of the London Sevens at Twickenham on Saturday.

The South Africans won 41-0, after leading 24-0 at half-time.

They ran in seven tries via Jambo Ulengo (2), Steven Hunt (2), Chris Dry, Cornal Hendricks and Frankie Horne.

Branco du Preez converted three of the tries.

The Blitzbokke will face Scotland (15:42) and Australia (19:44) later on Saturday.

    Glad they win but I get the feeling they are like the Proteas _ choke and loose important games end up playing plate competition?
