Blitzbokke KO'ed in Hong Kong

Cape Town - The South African Sevens team have been knocked out of the Cup competition in the quarter-final stage in Hong Kong by England on Sunday.

England won 14-7.

In the other quarter-finals New Zealand beat Wales 28-5, Fiji held off the USA 17-5 and Australia beat Canada 14-12.

In the semi-finals Fiji will play England while New Zealand and Australia will battle it out for the other final berth.

The Blitzbokke will lose their lead atop the standings with their early exit from the tournament.
