Cape Town - Blitzbok flyer Muller du Plessis was included in the Dream Team for this past weekend's Paris Sevens.
The Springbok Sevens side finished third at the event after beating the USA 24-7 in the Bronze Final.
Du Plessis, along with New Zealand duo Scott Curry and Andrew Knewstubb, Fiji's Vilimoni Botitu, Kenya's Andrew Amonde, England's James Rodwell and USA's Madison Hughes completed the Dream Team for the final event on the 2018/19 World Rugby Sevens series calendar.
Meanwhile, there were no South Africans in the Dream Team picked for the 2018/19 season. The team is made up entirely of players from series champions Fiji and runners-up USA.The @HSBC_Sport Dream Team for the #ParisSevens
