Auckland - All Blacks star Sonny Bill Williams has a new girlfriend - the daughter of another sports star.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald website, Williams, 26, has been seeing Aucklander Jaime Ridge, the teenage daughter of former league star Matthew and his ex-wife Sally.
The pair have been seeing each other for about three weeks and have been spotted out together. They have reportedly spent time together in Auckland where Ridge lives, and in Hamilton where Williams plays Super Rugby for the Chiefs.
"They're both very publicity shy and it's very early days for the relationship, but they have been spotted together on a regular basis," a source said.
However, Ridge is expected to be sitting in the front row at Williams's boxing bout next month.
Ridge, 18, is studying law and commerce at Auckland University.
Williams was last romantically linked with 21-year-old Cantabrian Aleisha Berryman.
His boxing bout against Clarence Tillman III for the NZ Boxing Association heavyweight title is in Hamilton on February 8.
