SA prop starts for Highlanders

Cape Town - South African prop Ross Geldenhuys will start at tighthead prop for the Highlanders in their pre-season match against the Crusaders in Timaru on Saturday.

He moved to New Zealand last year, and played every game for Tasman, who lost 36-32 to Taranaki in New Zealand’s provincial final.

Geldenhuys, 31, previously represented the Golden Lions, EP Kings and Western Province. He has been playing for Tasman in New Zealand's ITM Cup this year.

None of the recent All Blacks were included in the Highlanders squad for Saturday’s game.
