Cape Town - The Lions have posted a video of congratulations to the Springboks after their 2019 Rugby World Cup win.
The Johannesburg-based franchise are currently gathered together undergoing their pre-season training ahead of the 2020 Super Rugby season.
"Congratulations to you guys for being the world champions and motivating and inspiring the whole of South Africa," Lions and Springbok wing Courtnall Skosan said in the video.
"You showed us that whatever we do, if we do it together we can achieve it.
"We just want to celebrate with you guys and call on the whole of Johannesburg to come welcome you guys back this afternoon."
The Springboks are currently on their way back from Japan, with the first batch of players expected at OR Tambo International Airport at around 17:30 on Tuesday.
