Cape Town - National Football League (NFL) superstar Tom Brady is backing the Springboks for 2019 Rugby World Cup glory after posting a video wishing the Boks well in Japan.
The Springboks' official Twitter account posted the short clip of the six-time Super Bowl winner wishing Rassie Erasmus' men well ahead of their highly-anticipated clash against the All Blacks on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 11:45 SA time.
"Springboks, good luck to you in Japan," Brady said.
"Kick some butt, go Bokke!"
The 42-year-old New England Patriots quarterback is considered among the greatest of all time in the NFL and is one of the most recognisable faces in all of sport.
Brady holds the record for the most Super Bowl rings (6) alongside the most career wins by a quarterback in the regular and post-season.
