Injured Cubelli replaced by Bertranou in Pumas RWC squad

Tokyo - Argentina scrumhalf Tomas Cubelli has been ruled out of the remainder of the Rugby World Cup with a calf injury and replaced by Gonzalo Bertranou, the Pumas, who face an uphill task to reach the knockout rounds, announced on Saturday.

Cubelli, 30, sustained the injury during his side's 39-10 defeat to England earlier in the day which left Argentina needing other fixtures to go in their favour to make it to the quarter-finals.

France, second in Pool C, can clich a last eight spot ahead of the South Americans with victory over Tonga on Sunday.

Bertranou, 25, who made the last of his 21 Test appearances in August, is expected to feature in Wednesday's fixture against the USA.
