Auckland - A large contingent of disappointed Springbok fans have made their way to Eden Park where they will be cheering on the All Blacks in Sunday's Rugby World Cup semi-final against Australia.
Any love the South Africans may have had for the Wallaby brand was lost in last week's 11-9 quarter-final defeat.
"New Zealand just has to win today, seeing as we missed out on our chance," said Cornel Ferreira, a farmer from Jeffreys Bay.
Since their team's unexpected departure a week ago in Wellington, Bok fans have had more time to explore New Zealand’s scenic surroundings.
"It is the cleanest place I have ever been," Ferreira said.
"The atmosphere is great, the people are very friendly - its breathtaking."
Not that he would consider a more permanent move to New Zealand.
"Jeffreys Bay will always be the best and that’s not going to change any time soon."
