Cape Town - Credit where credit is due - the All Blacks were gracious in defeat following the Springboks' shock win in Wellington on Saturday.

Coach Steve Hansen and captain Kieran Read heaped praise on the victorious South African side in post-Test interviews.

The win was the Boks' 36th in 96 clashes between the two fierce rugby nations.

Below, All Blacks TV takes viewers into the New Zealand changing room as a Read shakes hands with his dejected team-mates and gives his views on the match.

The Rugby Championship enjoys a bye this coming weekend, after which the Boks welcome the Wallabies to Port Elizabeth on Saturday, September 29 (kick-off at 17:05), and will be hoping the Pumas can do them a favour and keep the title race alive when they host the All Blacks in Buenos Aires later that day (00:40 on Sunday, September 30 SA time).
