Wallabies bring in hooker Tolu Latu

Sydney - The Wallabies have added Waratahs hooker Tolu Latu to their squad ahead of their series with Ireland, replacing the injured Jordan Uelese.

Uelese, who suffered an ACL injury whilst playing for the Rebels against the Blues, has now been replaced by the breakdown specialist Latu.

However, Latu hasn't had a great deal of minutes for the 'Tahs this season. He joins Brandon Paenga-Amosa and Folau Faingaa in the squad.

“He’s been out of favour at the 'Tahs for a lot of the year and he’s coming back into favour a little. His two or three games he’s played, I think he’s had a good impact and he’s been excellent since he has been in camp,” head coach Michael Cheika told Australian Rugby's website.

“He’ll be banking on his last few games of form but also his previous games for the Wallabies and I’m sure he’ll do well."
