Cape Town - The Springboks put in the hard yards in Buenos Aires this week in preparation for Saturday’s Rugby Championship Test against Argentina in Mendoza.
The Boks will travel to Mendoza later in the week where Saturday’s Test will take place (kick-off 21:10 SA time).
On Wednesday, the team had an early field training session which was followed by a session in the gym later in the day.
Coach Rassie Erasmus will name his team at 13:00 (SA time) on Thursday and the expectation is that only one change will be made to the starting team.
Franco Mostert could come into the second row in place of Pieter-Steph du Toit.
The Bok lineout was an issue in last weekend’s 34-21 win over Los Pumas in Durban, with Du Toit and hooker Malcolm Marx struggling to find each other in that department.
Mostert, who is Marx’s team-mate at the Lions, could therefore crack the nod for this weekend.
Probably Springbok starting XV:
15 Willie le Roux, 14 Makazole Mapimpi, 13 Lukhanyo Am, 12 Andre Esterhuizen, 11 Aphiwe Dyantyi, 10 Handre Pollard, 9 Faf de Klerk, 8 Warren Whiteley, 7 Siya Kolisi (captain), 6 Francois Louw, 5 Franco Mostert, 4 Eben Etzebeth, 3 Frans Malherbe, 2 Malcolm Marx, 1 Tendai Mtawarira
