Cape Town - After another thrilling Rugby Championship clash, the mutual respect between the Springboks and the All Blacks is there for all to see.

Having stunned New Zealand 36-34 in Wellington last month, the Boks were left heartbroken at Loftus on Saturday when they surrendered a 30-13 lead to go down 32-20 to the 'old foe' in a match that went to the last kick of the game.

It was an agonising end to a match that South Africa had dominated throughout, and while the pain was etched all over the faces of the Bok players at the final whistle, it is clear that they have the respect of their opposition.

This rivalry is back to its best, and with around a year to go until the 2019 World Cup in Japan, it couldn't have happened at a better time.

Both sides took to Twitter in the minutes following kick-off to pay their respects to each other.

At the moment, there don't seem to be many sides in world rugby capable of challenging the All Blacks ... but South Africa is certainly one of them.
