The four-country Rugby Championship is watered down to three quick rounds this year because of the World Cup and it looks like countries will not play full strength teams.
The Wallabies have almost an experimental team, trying to work out combinations before Japan. South Africa also don't have a full-strength team.
South Africa have played Australia 10 times at Ellis Park in downtown Johannesburg, winning nine and losing just once back in 1963.
The Wallabies arrived in South Africa more than a week ago to get used to the altitude among other things. It could be a close game as both teams will look to use this game to prepare for the World Cup.
