French ref for Boks v Wallabies in PE

Cape Town - Frenchman Jerome Garces will referee Saturday’s Rugby Championship encounter between South Africa and Australia in Port Elizabeth.

Garces will assisted by the English duo of Wayne Barnes and Matthew Carley, with another Englishman, Graham Hughes, the television match official (TMO).

Kick-off is at 17:05.

The later game between Argentina and New Zealand in Buenos Aires will also be refereed by a Frenchman, with Mathieu Raynal to take charge.

Raynal will be assisted by the South African duo of Jaco Peyper and Marius van der Westhuizen, with England’s David Grashoff the TMO.

Kick-off is at 00:40 (SA time) on Sunday.
