Bookies back All Blacks to belt Springboks - AGAIN!

Cape Town - It won't be as bad as last year's 57-0 drubbing, but the All Blacks will once again thrash their Springbok rivals in Wellington on Saturday, if bookmakers are to be believed...

South African fans won't soon forget the 2017 Rugby Championship hiding they took in Albany, and leading SA bookies Sportingbet have predicted more misery for Rassie Erasmus' men at the Westpac Stadium come full-time this weekend.

The venue for Saturday's clash holds very few fond memories for the Boks, having lost all six of their previous Tests against the All Blacks in the New Zealand capital, with an average final score of 30-13.

However, things are predicted to be even worse once Welsh referee Nigel Owens blows his final whistle.

Sportingbet have installed the All Blacks as 1/20 outright favourites and 22-point handicap winners.

The Boks can be backed at 8/1, with the draw on offer at 33/1.

The match will be the 96th played between the two fierce rivals, with the Boks having won a mere 35 of those clashes to date.

A 22-point victory would in all likelihood be good enough to see the All Blacks etch their names on the Rugby Championship trophy for a staggering 16th time in what is the 23rd Tri-Nations/Rugby Championship tournament to have been contested.

Meanwhile, Sportingbet have listed the Wallabies as 3/10 outright and 10-point handicap favourites for their clash against Argentina on the Gold Coast on Saturday.

The Pumas can be backed at 12/5, with the draw available at 25/1.

Kick-off in the New Zealand v South Africa clash is at 09:35 SA time, while the action in Australia begins at noon (SA time).
