SA lead at the break

Cape Town - The Springboks managed to stay in front at half time during the titanic battle against the All Blacks in Wellington.

New Zealand went in front early on through an Aaron Cruden penalty before the Springboks hit back through a sensational Cornal Hendricks try.

Hendricks burst through the All Black line after a brilliant backline move with Handre Pollard.

Pollard added the conversion before Cruden slotted his second penalty.

New Zealand remained camped in Springbok territory for the rest of the half but the South Africa defence held firm.

Ruan Pienaar went off injured in the 35th minute and was replaced by Francois Hougaard.
