Questions will be asked if the ball was over the line when pressed by Kuridrani however. The overhead angle was inconclusive and the only angle that showed the ball been pressed seemed inconclusive as to whether the ball was indeed pressed on the line.

FULL TIME IN BRISBANE

Australia has dramatically snatched a late victory here.

They trailed by 7-20 early in the second half but never gave up and forced their way back into the match. The Boks, who played well in patches, only have themselves to blame for this loss.

Australia 24 South Africa 20

18 Jul 2015

82' - Conversion slotted by Giteau.

Giteau adds the extra two points and thats the end of the match.

18 Jul 2015

81' - TRY to the Wallabies!

Kuridrani has won it for the home side.

The TMO has ruled that the ball was pressed on the line.

Australia 22 South Africa 20

18 Jul 2015

81' - The TMO is called into action.

Kuridrani is pulled down short of the line, his momentum gets him over but Burger and Louw are involved and might have stopped him.

18 Jul 2015

80' - The Wallabies maul the ball up but the Boks defend and managed to stop the maul. The Wallabies send the ball out to the backs.

18 Jul 2015

79' - Turnover won by the Boks! But now they have conceded a penalty for diving into the ruck. The opt to kick for the corner.

18 Jul 2015

79' - Lambie kicks deep, the Wallabies field the ball and have possession inside the Bok half. More defence looms for the Boks.

18 Jul 2015

78' - His attempt is short!! The Boks breathe a sigh of relief.

18 Jul 2015

77' - They will kick at goal. This is right in front and around 45m out. Giteau is the man taking the responsibility.

18 Jul 2015

77' - Crucially the Wallabies have the ball in the Bok half. Mahoje has wandered offside. What will the Wallabies do?

18 Jul 2015

74' - CONVERSION slotted by Cooper!

The Wallabies flyhalf narrows the gap to just three points. This is going to be a close one folks!

Australia 17 South Africa 20

18 Jul 2015

73' - TRY to the Wallabies!

Hooper gets over from in close.

Australia 15 South Africa 20

18 Jul 2015

72' - Another scrum penalty to the Wallabies. The Boks collapsed the scrum, but the turf is really cut up and that could have caused it.

18 Jul 2015

72' - Now the Wallabies have a 5m attacking scrum feed. More defense needed by the Boks here!

18 Jul 2015

70' - The Boks have a defensive scrum on their own line. The Wallabies pack pull off a monster scrum and Burger is caught behind his own try line. Hooper seemed miles offside, however. He was not bound either.

18 Jul 2015

70' - Again the Bok defence is unbelievable. Firstly they managed to stop a rolling and then some in-your-face defence forces the Wallabies to knock on.

The home side however, will not be very happy with their error count today, especially in the red zone of the Boks.

18 Jul 2015

69' - BOK SUBSTITUTION

Coetzee is replaced by Mohoje

He seems to have a knee injury.

18 Jul 2015

68' - The Wallabies move onto the attack again, this time they win a penalty as Reinach is adjudged to have played the ball on the ground. Cooper sets up a lineout in the Bok 22m area.

18 Jul 2015

67' - BOK SUBSTITUTION

Pollard is replaced by Lambie.

Pienaar is replaced by Reinach

18 Jul 2015

67' - Once again, the defence is nothing short of exceptional. Pollard manages to get over the ball and wins a penalty.

18 Jul 2015

66' - The Boks are under huge pressure again as the Wallabies surge into the 22m area.

18 Jul 2015

64' - The Wallabies are penalised for offside. Pollard doesn't find touch, and the home side clear to the halfway line. Poor play from the Bok flyhalf.

18 Jul 2015

62' - Giteau breaks the Bok line, finds Folau on his inside but the fullback cannot hold the ball. The pass was slightly behind him.

18 Jul 2015

61' - What a shocker from Cooper! He has hacked that away to the left of the uprights!

18 Jul 2015

59' - The Wallabies win a scrum penalty! Strauss had his knee on the ground apparently. The Wallabies seemed to wheel that. This is a very kickable penalty for Cooper.

18 Jul 2015

58' - Again excellent defence by the Boks wins a defensive scrum on their own 22m area.

18 Jul 2015

56' - Another penalty to the Wallabies as Le Roux is penalised for not releasing. Cooper sets up a lineout in the Bok half.

18 Jul 2015

54' - PENALTY slotted by Cooper!

No mistake from the Wallabies flyhalf. He has cut the gap to 10 points.

Australia 10 South Africa 20

18 Jul 2015

54' - Cooper will have shot at goal from straight out in front.

18 Jul 2015

52' - The Wallabies have a penalty as Pienaar is ruled offside. The home side took the ball through 11 phases in that movement.

18 Jul 2015

50' - Great work from the new Bok front row as they win a scrum penalty.

18 Jul 2015

49' - BOK SUBSTITUTION

B du Plessis is replaced by Strauss

Mtawarira is replaced by vd Merwe.

18 Jul 2015

48' - Poor execution by the Wallabies as Kuridrani knocks on. It must be said that was some excellent rush defence by South Africa, Habana in particular.

18 Jul 2015

47' - BOK SUBSTITUTION

J du Plessis is replaced by Malherbe

18 Jul 2015

47' - Poor play from the Boks leads to Habana been caught behind his own try-line. The Wallabies have an attacking 5m scrum.

18 Jul 2015

45' - Conversion by Pollard!

Pollard extends the Bok lead by another two points!

Australia 7 South Africa 20

18 Jul 2015

44' - TRY to the Springboks!

What a score from Kriel! Excellent work by Le Roux and Habana works some space for the youngster who first cuts inside and then uses his pace to go outside another defender to score in the left-hand corner!

Australia 7 Springboks 18

18 Jul 2015

42' - The Wallabies have a scrum as the Boks get their timing wrong on the rolling maul.

18 Jul 2015

18 Jul 2015

40' - Cooper gets the second half underway. The Boks control and Pienaar launches a bomb which the home side field easily.

18 Jul 2015

The teams return to the pitch for the second half. The Boks are now captained by Ruan Pienaar with Matfield off the field.
