Joost to lead out Boks

Cape Town - Former Springbok great Joost van der Westhuizen will lead out the Boks ahead of their Rugby Championship Test against the All Blacks at Ellis Park on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 17:05.

Van der Westhuizen, despite suffering from motor neuron disease (MND) and confined to a wheelchair, will no doubt give Jean de Villiers' men a tremendous boost as they look to beat their greatest foes.

Earlier this week, Van der Westhuizen popped into an All Blacks training session.

The All Blacks took time out from their practice session to pose for photographs and chat to the former Springbok scrumhalf.
