Heyneke: Passionate much?

Cape Town - Never in the long history of Springbok coaches has there been anyone who's displayed as much emotion as incumbent, Heyneke Meyer.

As it happened: Springboks v Wallabies

Saturday's display at Newlands left no rugby fan in any doubt at Meyer's passion for the Green and Gold cause.

Meyer even went as far as to brave the All Blacks haka when he and his coaching staff "faced up" to the New Zealander's challenge in their recent Rugby Championship clash in Auckland.

Last Saturday at Newlands against the Wallabies, Meyer was once again seen on the touchline during the respective anthems, belting out Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika with vigour and unbridled passion, the likes of which have never been seen before by a Springbok coach.

Meyer is of course by now a YouTube sensation with his coaching box antics.

The thought of what Meyer might have in store at Ellis Park on Saturday for the Rugby Championship decider against the All Blacks brings goosebumps to one's flesh.
