dao. You don't know much do you. Any rugby game between the national rugby teams of two countries is called a test. They may not be tier 1 rugby nations, but it is still a test and that is how you develop a ref. You don't throw him into an All Black vs. South Africa game in the final of the World Cup. At least the referees are developed like they should be, not like SARU is developing the Kings by throwing them into the toughest tournament in the world.

You are right chrisin, even playing your brother in the back yard is a test.LOL Well done Jaftha!!!

Pinkmasjien, you're surprising me! You're not complaining about the ref? Where's pink.johnny and the dowwe nurse. They will complain about Jason Jafta. I'm sure he sometime has had to ref a game where the Bulls lost. I think recently every ref in SA reffed a game where the Bulls lost - not that difficult really. Except probably Craig "Bloubul" Joubert. He would have made sure the Bulls win.

This lil fella is firm and fair. Congrats and good luck :)

Best Ref in SA at this stage!!! His eyes are wide open and does not ref with WP / Stompie sunglasses. If he reffed the semi or the final newspaper headlines would have read differently.

That bitter pill seems to be stuck in tokkies throat for 2 weeks already. Even his daily whine cant seem to dislodge it.

Ou Toutrok... Jy kom seker van die Kaap af as ek jou profile pic so kyk. Jy lyk darem heel skeef vir ou Tokolos jong!

      chrisin.oz.1 - 2012-11-05 23:05

Tokolos, please give me some examples of where the WP benefitted from the ref decisions in those two games. When I watched those games I got the impression the two refs did their best to prevent WP from winning.

Tokolos, see you forgot to put your teeth in again, try super glue.

Good to see. One of the best referrees around!

  • chrisin.oz.1 - 2012-11-06 03:20

Now just to get Rasta to make his test debut and we'll have SA's two best refs doing the international rounds. Congrats Jason Jafta.

  • chrisin.oz.1 - 2012-11-06 03:23

I see Plonker Jonker is taking charge of two games. I wonder who he'll be playing for?

  • whusselmann - 2012-11-06 15:28

Jason Jaftha is a good ref, but i thought that Rasta was the pick of the refs this year and that includes Peyper who lost his nerve and nearly cost WP the Currie Cup.
