Racing hunting Bok Juandré

Cape Town - French Top 14 club Racing Metro is hunting the services of the Bulls' Springbok lock Juandré Kruger.

French media reports suggest that Racing coach Gonzalo Quesada is attempting to "reinforce" his resources by luring the 27-year-old Kruger to Paris.

This interest in Kruger - who played eight Tests for the Boks since making his debut against England in June - was on Thursday confirmed by Blue Bulls CEO Barend van Graan.

"I am aware that he has been talking to other clubs (abroad) in regards to his future and I am also aware that there are clubs interested in him," he told the Rugby365 website.

"However, I have not heard of anything that has been finalised."

Racing, currently struggling at a lowly 9th position in the Top 14, recently signed former Bok prop Brian Mujati from English club Northampton Saints.

They lost Frans Steyn earlier this year after the Bok centre decided to return to the Sharks.
