Racing hunting Bok Juandré

Cape Town - French Top 14 club Racing Metro is hunting the services of the Bulls' Springbok lock Juandré Kruger.

French media reports suggest that Racing coach Gonzalo Quesada is attempting to "reinforce" his resources by luring the 27-year-old Kruger to Paris.

This interest in Kruger - who played eight Tests for the Boks since making his debut against England in June - was on Thursday confirmed by Blue Bulls CEO Barend van Graan.

"I am aware that he has been talking to other clubs (abroad) in regards to his future and I am also aware that there are clubs interested in him," he told the Rugby365 website.

"However, I have not heard of anything that has been finalised."

Racing, currently struggling at a lowly 9th position in the Top 14, recently signed former Bok prop Brian Mujati from English club Northampton Saints.

They lost Frans Steyn earlier this year after the Bok centre decided to return to the Sharks.

You can take cannot tackle, breakdown Bekker at half price and get one free

In super rugby last year. Willem Alberts missed 32 tackles. Pierre Spies missed 30, and Josh Strauss missed 29. 7 of the top 10 for missed tackles are from SA. Funny thing is, they've also got 5 in the top 10 for most tackles made. Marcell Coetzee made the most and Anton Bresler is second. One of the reasons for this could be that SA players don't miss many games. The more rugby you play, the more tackles you'll have to make.

No no no no Juandre, you stay at the Bulls thank you, you will learn far more from Matfield than those french hippies up north. I dont care what anyone here says, he poses a far greater threat at the line out than Bekker, for one thing, Juandre will actually make an attempt to disrupt the damn ball

What should be concerning bulls supporters here is that, apparently, Kruger is considering leaving the bulls. Same thing with CJ Stander. Putting everything down to money is an easy answer and probably not the right one. Something is wrong at the bulls franchise and I'd say that it is the administration. If this doesn't get fixed quickly, there are lean years ahead.
