Cooper banned from pub

2012-01-05 09:03

Sydney - Wallabies star Quade Cooper has been banned from a popular southeast Queensland pub after an alleged altercation with a female patron.

According to the Stuff.co.nz website, Cooper, 23, has been banned from visiting the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel for six months, the Seven Network reported.

Cooper was reportedly evicted along with Reds' team-mates after an altercation with a woman at the bar.

The rugby star's split with former girlfriend, swimmer Stephanie Rice, was made public last week.

Publican Michael Jackson said the hotel had one rule for everyone when it came to behaviour.

"It doesn't matter who you are (or) how much money you're going to spend here," he said.

"If you play up, it's not on and you won't be back."

The Reds issued a statement saying Cooper's alleged actions didn't warrant official disciplinary action.

What did he do? Did he try to steal the cutlery?

He probably tried his luck with another girl and she did not like it.

@ Peter You tend to view everything through your Aussie, fly-infested glasses. Many Aussie sportsmen have been gulity of bad behaviour: Check out these links http://www.theherald.com.au/news/local/news/general/andrew-symonds-sent-home-from-england-for-bad-behaviour/1533058.aspx http://www.dawn.com/2011/05/12/shane-warnes-war-with-the-ipl-continues.html http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/cricket/fans-blash-australian-cricket-teams-behaviour-in-perth/story-e6frfg8o-1225813289478 Do you still think Aus is a great nation of sportsmen who generally behave themselves? If, as you keep suggesting in your posts, you think Saffas are such obnoxious people, why don't you go back to your beloved nanny state?

You forgot to mention when a few of the Wallabies were caught abusing those animals on Rottnest island. Real classy bunch. They had to put down the animals they were so badly tortured.
