Paris - Clermont's France scrum-half Morgan Parra is to appear before a disciplinary committee of the LNR on October 16 after a punching incident in the weekend's 40-11 victory over Bordeaux-Begles in the Top 14.

Parra was yellow carded during the match after landing several punches on Bordeaux flanker Gautier Gibouin, who was in a clinch with two other Clermont players at the time, Davit Zirakashvili and Napolioni Nalaga.

A host of other players will also appear before the disciplinary committee, including Parra's teammate Julien Bardy, Racing-Metro flanker Bernard Le Roux, Biarritz lock Pelu Taele and Brive scrum-half Thomas Sanchou, the latter two red carded for dangerous tackles on the weekend and suspended until their hearings.
