Pretoria - A training ground injury has ruled out Handre Pollard for six weeks of rugby.
The Blue Bulls pivot injured his shoulder on Monday during a training session and further scans revealed a grade three tear of the AC joint in his right shoulder.
He will have to undergo rehabilitation and will be out of rugby for six weeks.
The 2013 Currie Cup will kick off on Friday, August 9.
