Tian Meyer to captain Cheetahs in Bloem

Cape Town - Scrumhalf Tian Meyer will captain the Cheetahs as they look to get PRO14 season going against Glasgow Warriors at Free State Stadium on Saturday.

The Cheetahs have lost their first two matches of the campaign but are on home soil for the first time in the competition. 

Meyer replaces Shaun Venter in the No 9 jersey and with Oupa Mohoje ruled out for the rest of the season with injury, he has been given the captaincy. 

Glasgow, meanwhile, have made a strong start to their campaign by winning their first two matches. 

Kick-off on Saturday is at 19:30.
