Cape Town - The Southern Kings were brought back to earth with a resounding thud after losing their PRO14 tour match against the Llanelli Scarlets on Saturday.
A week after beating the Glasgow Warriors at home, the Kings were no match for their Welsh opponents at the Parc y Scarlets, losing 54-14.
The defeat saw the Kings remain bottom of Conference B.
In their next assignment, the Kings will travel to Italy where they will play Benetton Treviso at the Stadio Comunale di Monigo on Saturday, October 6.
Kick-off is at 20:00 SA time.
