Bloemfontein - Johan Goosen will start on the bench for the Cheetahs in Saturday's PRO14 clash against the Kings in Port Elizabeth.

It is the final round of round robin fixtures, and one point will guarantee the Cheetahs third spot in Pool A.

The two sides have met on six previous occasions in all competitions with Cheetahs running out victors on all occasions.

Goosen, who is continuing his comeback to rugby before jetting off to France, makes way for Niel Marais, who returns to take the No 10 jersey.

There is also a return for Clinton Swart, who takes up his place at inside centre.

"Our focus will be on being better and converting pressure into points. We need to be more clinical," Cheetahs captain Francois Venter said.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 15:00.
