Bloemfontein - The Cheetahs imploded in the second to lose badly at home to the Glasgow Warriors in their PRO14 clash at the Free State Stadium.
The Scottish side ran out 52-24 victors, having trailed 19-14 at half-time.
Glasgow outscored the Cheetahs by seven tries to four.
The defeat was the Cheetahs' third in a row to start the season and they are rooted to the bottom of Conference A.
Their next encounter is at home against Irish side Ulster next Friday (September 21).
- In a rather bizarre turn of events, the Free State Cheetahs' Currie Cup side also lost with a 52-24 scoreline against Griquas in Kimberley earlier in the day.
