Le Roux named Cheetahs' best

Bloemfontein - Springbok fullback Willie le Roux has been named Cheetahs Rugby Player of the Year for 2015.

Le Roux received the award at the Free State Rugby Union's year-end function.

The Bok fullback was earlier also shortlisted for World Rugby's Player of the Year, but lost out to New Zealand lock Brodie Retallick.

Scrumhalf Sarel Pretorius was also rewarded for another season of good form. He won awards in no fewer than three categories - Currie Cup Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Super Rugby Player of the Year 2014.
