Bloemfontein - Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has named his team for their pre-season friendly against the Griffons at Old Greys on Wednesday (16:00 kick-off).

Springbok Willie le Roux is fit to start at fullback after he injured his ankle against the Stormers at Newlands last Friday.

Joe Pietersen, who missed the Stormers game with injury, is also ready and will start at flyhalf.

Meanwhile, Johann Sadie and Heinrich Brussow have returned from their duties in Japan. Sadie was picked on the bench for Wednesday's clash, but Brussow was not selected because he is struggling with concussion.

The Cheetahs start their Super Rugby campaign away to the Sharks in Durban on February 14. They lost their first two pre-season games (30-13 v Bulls, Polokwane and 39-31 v Stormers, Cape Town).
