Former Bok to take on Lions

Cape Town - Former Springbok flyhalf André Pretorius will play his first Vodacom Cup match for the Leopards when they take on his former team, the Golden Lions in Potchefstroom on Saturday.

The 34-year-old is back from France where he played since leaving the Lions at the end of last year's Super Rugby competition.

Pretorius, who will start at flyhalf on Saturday, is expected to finish his career with the Leopards.

He played 31 Test for South Africa, has 51 caps for the Golden Lions and 58 Super Rugby appearances (for the Cats, Lions and Western Force).

His halfback partner will be the 25-year-old Eugené Jantjies, who represented Namibia in last year's World Cup in New Zealand.

Eightman Morné Hanekom will lead the Leopards who are still a bit depleted with a few players away with the NWU-Pukke team in the Varsity Cup.
