Bekker blow for Springboks

Cape Town - The Springboks have been dealt a heavy blow ahead of their three-Test series against England with the news that Stormers lock Andries Bekker has been ruled out of action for five weeks.

Bekker was excluded from the Stormers team to face the Bulls in their crucial Vodacom Super Rugby derby at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday with a lower back strain.

Bekker will also miss the Tests against England which start on June 9 in Durban.
