England reach U20 World final

Treviso - England's under-20 side have reached the final of the IRB Junior World Championship after beating France in their semi-final.

England won 33-18, after trailing 13-10 at halftime.

According to the website, 3news.co.nz, it was a see-saw affair.

England off to a flyer, scoring first through Christian Wade but the French came back to take the lead into the break.

It wasn't until the 55th minute that England took the lead back when fullback Ben Ransom carried the ball in two hands to slice through and score.

But the standout was England's flyhalf George Ford who nailed three penalties, a conversion and a try.

England will meet the winner of Australia and New Zealand in the final.
