Naka should get a chance to further his career somewhere else too!!

      dao.muangnoicharoen - 2012-11-13 18:08

      It's spelt cheetahs wtf

  • Pomp.haar.doer - 2012-11-13 14:57

Honestly,i cant see the Cheethas making any improvement on last years 10th spot. They have struggeled since the competition started, even with them joining hands with Griquas nd Griffons, didnt make them competitive anyway. They must rather focus to get their house in order, with new management, better sponsers ect,so the can be more competitive.

The Stormers are going to play great rugby next season Im sure. With Jantjies pulling the strings at FH and Taute joining the line from FB there will be a lot more running rugby. I agree though, this years brand of rugby was really boring!!

      steven.rhode.311 - 2012-11-13 18:25

Dom trol dao... Niks meer vervelig as wannebe Anneke Meyer nie! Skop, storm, skop storm, absoluut gemors! Hy mors met goeie talent jou trol!

      Poephol

      dao.muangnoicharoen - 2012-11-13 16:17

what is naar and klaped? anyway wp winning the currie cup is irrelevant because it has become such a watered down tournament. no one really cares about the currie cup since 2010 when it became the most watered down tournament in the history of the world. before 2010 it was worth watching, now its like watching the vodacom cup a second time round

      steven.rhode.311 - 2012-11-13 18:27

Trol dao, ook maar net watertand omdat jou loser span nie gewen het nie ne... Gaan verdrink jouself jou naatgat!

once again i feel depth will hinder this exciting cheetahs squad, there aren't too many household names there but they will now have their chance on the big stage. Marnus Schoeman and Martin muller are fantastic additions in the pack, two top players of this years CC, in the backs i'm looking forward to seeing hansie graaff in action serious talent. On paper this is'nt a bad 22 at all: 1.Coenie Oosthuizen 2.Adriaan Strauss 3.Caylib Oosthuizen 4.Martin Muller 5.Andries Ferreira 6.Heinrich Brussow 7.Boom Prinsloo 8.Philip van der Walt 9.Piet van Zyl/Sarel pretorius 10.Johan Goosen 11.Raymond Rhule 12.Johan Sadie 13.Robert Ebersohn 14.Rocco Jansen 15.Willie le roux 16.Torsten van Jaarsveld 17.Rossouw de Klerk 18.Ligtoring Landman 19.Lappies Lapuschagne/Marnus Schoeman 20.Piet van Zyl/Sarel Pretorius 21.Hansie Graaff 22.Cornal Hendricks/Rayno Benjamin

      peter.britz1 - 2012-11-13 15:49

No real depth concerns. Coenie will play TH preferably, so the situation will be more or less: 1.Caylib Oosthuizen/Stef Roberts 2.Adriaan Strauss with Barnes/Hercu both solid and experienced 3.Coenie Oosthuizen with Adriaanse, Nyakane and Rossouw de Klerk with S15 exp 4.Andries Ferreira with Uys and Landman with S15 exp 5.Martin Muller with Waltie Vermeulen having S15 exp and youg Lood/Edwinn to learn the ropes 6.Heinrich Brussow with the promising Marnus Schoeman and Downey as back up 7.Lappies Labuschagne with Tertius Daniller and Raubenheimer as back up. 8.Philip van der Walt with Karemaker and Boom Prinsloo as back up 9.Piet van Zyl/Sarel Pretorius 10.Johan Goosen with Brummer who played very well for Griquas and new kid Hansie Graaff/Elgar Watts 11.Raymond Rhule with Cornal Hendricks or Rocco Jansen to rotate, plenty pace and power 12.Robert Ebersohn with Joubert Engelbrecht or Geel as back up 13.Johan Sadie with JP Nel or Jean Stemmet as back up 14.Ryno Benjamin with Dusty Noble or Jannie Boshoff as back up 15.Willie le roux with Daniller, Nico Scheepers and Riaan Smit as back up I don't see any problems with the depth, and if another flyhalf bomb hits we can play le Roux or Smit at FH

      dao.muangnoicharoen - 2012-11-13 16:18

coenie oosthiuzen will give up rugby in the next 2 or 3 years along with schalk burger. neck injuries along with knee injuries are the end of a forwards career

      Ami.Kapilevich - 2012-11-13 17:24

That is one hellaver exciting backline. One of the best in S15 next year.

      tee.baas - 2012-11-13 20:04

agree myt be short on depth but it isnt a bad 22 though i think Justin Downey is great talent ( how old is he, if young then one for the future espeially without Juan)

  • cape.maori - 2012-11-13 15:25

Naka must be the only coach who is consistently a failure, but manages to retain his job!

      peter.britz1 - 2012-11-13 15:51

No you can add Robbie Deans, Heynecke Meyer and Toetie to your list dufus!

  • jan.dutoit.7583 - 2012-11-13 15:58

Personally I think the Cheetahs have a good chance to improve in 2013 with palyers like these newcomers and the experienced players together. I am a Cheetah supporter and I think a lot of the comments posted must be from Lion supporters or maybe even BB supporters. Say no more.

  • donovan.senus - 2012-11-13 15:59

Anybody know what's happening with Juan Smith's archillies injury? It's been 2 years now?

      dao.muangnoicharoen - 2012-11-13 16:19

he is making ads for farming equipment on OFM. he will soon give up rugby in schalk and coenie's footsteps

      peter.britz1 - 2012-11-13 16:40

He is fit again, but he hasn't been contracted. Last rumour was that he was looking at playing in France. I personally hope they can give him a swansong season at the Cheetahs, he has been a legend, and a true servant of Cheetahs rugby.

  • charlietlo - 2012-11-13 17:57

so whose "bright idea" was it not to renew Juan Smith and Kabamba floors' contracts? naka or harold?

      dao.muangnoicharoen - 2012-11-13 18:10

Why would you contract someone who is crocked 90% of the time. You pay the guy to sit at home. Not a bright idea to do that
