Cape Town - Western Province coach John Dobson will look to utilise speedster Cheslin Kolbe as soon as possible for their Currie Cup Premier Division campaign.

Dobson hinted that Kolbe might be selected this week following his return from the Olympic Games where he represented the Blitzboks.

WP tackle the Free State Cheetahs at Newlands on Friday (17:10 kick-off).

“We’ll see how Cheslin feels mentally and he has a slightly sore calf. He might be in the selection frame for this week,” Dobson told Netwerk24.

Kolbe won a bronze medal with the Blitzboks after they defeated Japan 54-14 to finish third in the Sevens Rugby event in Rio de Janeiro.
