Sharks overturn half-time deficit to down Pumas

Cape Town - The Sharks overturned a half-time deficit to emerge 28-12 winners in a Currie Cup clash against the Pumas in Durban on Friday night.

In what was a scrappy encounter in front of a small Kings Park crowd, the Sharks went into half-time 12-7 down in wet conditions.

They scored three unanswered tries in the second half, keeping their visitors scoreless, as basic errors began to plague the Pumas' game.

The result means that the Sharks go top of the Currie Cup log with 15 points.

Tries: Jeremy Ward, Johan Deysel, Aphelele Fassi, Curwin Bosch

Conversions: Robert du Preez (4)

Pumas 12 (12)
