Paige, Schoeman start for Cheetahs against Bulls

Bloemfontein - The Free State Cheetahs have named their team for Friday’s Currie Cup opener against the Blue Bulls at the Free State Stadium.

Former Bulls halfbacks - scrumhalf Rudy Paige and Tian Schoeman - will line-up in the starting team against their former team-mates.

Oupa Mohoje will captain the side which will feature a number of players making their Currie Cup debuts for Free State.

Substitute hooker Jacques du Toit will be playing in his 50th match for the Free State Cheetahs if he makes an appearance.

Daan Human will coach Free State's Currie Cup side, while director of rugby Franco Smith will be in charge of the Cheetahs' PRO14 team.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00.
