Murray in midfield against Sharks

Cape Town - Eastern Province Kings coach Barend Pieterse has named his team for Saturday’s Currie Cup clash against the Sharks in Durban.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.

Pieterse made a few changed to the team that lost 57-22 to the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on September 3.

Lungelo Gosa starts at fullback in place of Johann Tromp, while former Springbok and Sharks centre Waylon Murray comes into the midfield in place of JC Greyling.

Up front, Barend Portgieter starts at prop, with Vukile Sofisa moving to the bench. Martin Bezuidenhout is back at hooker in place of Michael Willemse, who has returned to Western Province after being loaned to the Kings.

In the final change to the run-on XV, Brandon Brown comes in for Etienne Oosthuizen at No 7 flank.

The Kings are currently bottom on the standings, having lost all five their matches.
