Minimal changes for Sharks ahead of heavyweight WP clash

Cape Town - The Sharks have named their side for Saturday's top-of-the-table Currie Cup clash against Western Province in Cape Town.

Both teams are unbeaten in 2018 and have accrued maximum log points from four previous fixtures heading into this huge coastal derby.

The winner of this match is likely - but not assured - of finishing on top and therefore, in a best-case scenario, enjoying home ground advantage in the semis and final.

Head coach Robert du Preez has made just two changes to his match-day 22 as Jacques Vermeulen returns to the starting line-up, swapping jerseys with Luke Stringer.

The second change is on the bench, with Leolin Zas coming in for Sbu Nkosi, who is on Bok duty.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 14:00.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
