Lions lose Skosan for the season

Cape Town - The Golden Lions have been rocked by the news that winger Courtnall Skosan has suffered a groin injury that will rule him out for the rest of the season.

Skosan was one of the union's form players during their run to the Super Rugby final and was expected to play a crucial role during this year's Currie Cup competition.

He picked up the injury in the Golden Lions 31-17 loss to the Blue Bulls on Friday night.

The Lions are also waiting on news regarding and injury to Martin Muller.

He sprained his sterno-clavicular joint and will have to undergo a fitness test before the team to face Western Province this weekend is finalised.
