Lions bolster prop stocks with Mienie signing

Johannesburg - The Lions on Friday announced the signing of prop Danie Mienie from French outfit Toulouse.

ALSO READ: Lions continue mass player signings

The 27-year-old will immediately be available for the Golden Lions XV in the upcoming Currie Cup.

Mienie played 15 games for Toulouse, having previously represented the Cheetahs, Griquas and Sharks.

Mienie’s signing is the latest in a long list of deals made by the Lions this week.

Earlier in the week, the Johannesburg outfit signed contract extensions with 28 players.
