Injury niggles for EP Kings

Cape Town - The Eastern Province Kings have a few injury concerns following their 57-25 Currie Cup loss to the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein at the weekend.

Flyhalf Pieter-Steyn de Wet sustained a slight concussion and will be monitored according to protocol.

Lock Dylan Pieterse sustained a wrist injury and x-rays will be taken on Monday, with the results to be investigated and further decisions made accordingly.

Centre JC Greyling has injured his ankle injury and further tests will also be done on Monday.

While some of the other players sustained light bumps and bruises, the team will rest for the next three days and resume training on Thursday.

The Kings have a bye this weekend.
