Cheetahs ring changes for trip to Newlands

Cape Town - Coach Daan Human has named his Free State Cheetahs team for their Currie Cup encounter against Western Province at Newlands on Saturday.

Human has made seven changes to his starting XV from the one which lost 34-12 at home to the Blue Bulls last Friday.

In the backline, Dries Swanepoel replaces Benhard Janse van Rensburg at outside centre, while Louis Fouche and Tian Meyer form a new halfback partnership, replacing Tian Schoeman and Rudy Paige.

In the loose trio, Aidon Davis replaces Niell Jordaan at No 8, while Jasper Wiese comes in for Junior Pokomela in the No 6 jersey.

At lock, Dennis Visser replaces JP du Preez, with Stephan Malan providing cover on the bench.

At tighthead prop, Gunther Janse van Vuuren switches places with Luan de Bruin.
