Blue Bulls lose Ismaiel for Boland clash

Cape Town - The Blue Bulls have taken the decision to rest wing Travis Ismaiel for this Friday's Currie Cup fixture against Boland Cavaliers.

In Monday's medical update from team doctor Herman Rossouw, it was confirmed that the 24-year-old finisher will sit out this week's game.

"Travis Ismaiel has been nursing a groin injury for some time and our medical team made a decision that they are going to rest him," said Rossouw, adding: "Ruan Steenkamp and Arno Botha remain on the injury list but are recovering well and will join the team as of next week."

The Blue Bulls currently sit in third place while Boland are seventh.
